Scope Manage customer service efforts to insure appropriate levels of customer responsiveness. Manage and ensure accuracy of master data for planning, inventory accuracy, etc. Participate in/identify continuous improvement projects to impact business results. Oversee Supply Chain processes to achieve inventory control goals. Convert corporate initiatives into language & priorities for local supply chain execution. Apply planning principles with suppliers to ensure vendor visibility & capability to deliver. Take appropriate actions in case of deviation of the results, or crisis. Manage & cross-train department employees for performance & future flexibility/advancement within the business. Main activities • Manages all supply chain functions for the Matamoros site, including planning, buying, traffic, import-export, customer service and inventory control • Manage customer service efforts to insure appropriate levels of customer responsiveness • Manage and ensure accuracy of master data for planning, inventory accuracy, etc • Participate in/identify continuous improvement projects to impact business results • Oversee Supply Chain processes to achieve inventory control goals • Convert corporate initiatives into language & priorities for local supply chain execution • Apply planning principles with suppliers to ensure vendor visibility & capability to deliver • Take appropriate actions in case of deviation of the results, or crisis • Manage & cross-train department employees for performance & future flexibility/advancement within the business Accountability including KPIs • Guarantee customer gets the right product on time. • Guarantee inventory levels are right-sized and accurate. • Guarantee accurate and timely production schedules. Including timely delivery of direct material to support sales orders/production requirements. • Guarantee supplier performance. • Guarantee cost stability and cost savings. Profile (Experience & qualifications) • *Experience and education* • Bachelor degree (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Admin, a plus). • APICS certification or CPIM a plus. • Experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment 5-10 years. • 2 Knowledge/Technical Skills required • Strong ERP and data analytics background (data mining). Work with partners to work with the ERP systems interactively. • Strong financial background/experience, MBA a plus. • 3 Leadership skills • Win as One Team - Teaches, coaches and mentors others.
